What is the AO Foundation?
The AO Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Alpha Omega. Over $250,000 are donated by Alpha Omega each year to dental related charities around the world. Recently AO has started an initiative called the Centennial Campaign. The goal of this campaign is to bring our foundation’s worth to five million dollars. This way we can donate even larger gifts each year.
What is CHAI Club?
CHAI Club members are supporters of the AO Student Foundation. It was established in 1998 as a way for students to show they are interested in philanthropy and understand the importance of giving to those in need. Fundraisers such as T-shirt sales and CHAI Club membership donations have been used to raise money for the charities. Money raised by students in the past has been donated to charities such as Plants for Implants, Dental Volunteers for Israel and Special Olympics Special Smiles, Pediatrics AIDS Trust Fund, and most recently the September 11th Fund.
