The HSL focuses its resources and services to meet the information needs of the University's five health sciences schools as well as health professionals and organizations throughout Western New York. Their resources include over 2,500 current biomedical journal subscriptions, over 300,000 volumes of books and journals, over 2,000 audiovisual programs, a marvelous history of medicine collection including rare medical instruments, and a growing array of electronic information resources. Dental students often make use of the quiet atmosphere for last minute studying or the late night 'cram' session.
