Since there are no auditoriums in Squire Hall (but plans are in the works), Diefendorf Hall is one used frequently, especially for AV presentations. During class breaks, students often check their email or stocks in the student computer lab on the second floor.

Charles Haas Diefendorf (1891-1975) was a banker who was very active in civic, cultural, and philanthropic affairs in Buffalo.
